MEMPHIS, Tenn., March 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- Uniting one million people in the United States to pray the Rosary for unborn babies may seem unrealistic to some people, but that is not stopping the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization from trying.

On Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event is scheduled to take place. Participants will pray the Rosary for the following intention: For an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn babies. All participants will be praying the Rosary within the same 60-minute time span (9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Eastern Time Zone; 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. Central Time Zone; etc.)

"The primary way to stop the killing of unborn babies is not by way of politics and is not by way of education", stated Patrick Benedict, President of the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization and a parishioner at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in the Diocese of Memphis in Tennessee. "The person battling the "Culture of Death" is primarily in a spiritual battle and needs to use spiritual weaponry.

"The Rosary is a powerful spiritual weapon, and I hope there will be at least one million people in the United States taking hold of their Rosaries on May 3rd and participating in the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event."

Registering for the May 3rd prayer event is easy and quick, and it can be done by going to www.SaintMichaelTheArchangelOrganization.org A person without computer access may ask for help from someone who has a computer or may receive information by writing to: Saint Michael the Archangel Organization; P. O. Box 41257; Memphis, TN 38174(A non-tax-deductible donation for postage, etc. would be appreciated.)

The Saint Michael the Archangel Organization's website has much information, including the opportunity for people to send an email to Pope Benedict XVI to ask that he: 1) re-establish, as he sees fit, the practice of having prayers offered after Masses; and, 2) that these prayers (which include The Hail Mary Prayer and the Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel) be offered for the following intention: For an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn babies.

The Saint Michael the Archangel Organization coordinated the ROSARY FOR LIFE SUNDAY prayer event in 2007 and is now coordinating the ONE MILLION ROSARIES FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event.
