Contact: Pastor Bryan Longworth, Covenant Tabernacle World Outreach Center, 772-380-2111

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fl., Jan. 24 /Christian Newswire/ -- Pastor Bryan Longworth calls Christians to vote Biblical values in Florida's upcoming presidential primary. In a recent sermon, Longworth recently spelled out the Biblical values Christians should base their vote on and will play that message on his churches weekly radio broadcast this Sunday. To inform voters where the candidates stand on these issues, Longworth recently posted values voter guides on the web, will host a viewing of the Values Voter 2008 Presidential Debate at his church in Port St. Lucie, FL this Friday, January 25 at 7 pm, and will make copies of the debate available to other churches. This debate asks the candidates tough questions on issues such as the Right to Life, Embryonic Stem Cell Research, Homosexual Marriage, Taxes, Illegal Immigration, 2nd Amendment Rights, Education, and National Security.

Longworth laments, "for far too long, Christians stood idly and allowed our nation to slip into moral depravity. We stood by while creationism was replaced with Darwinism. We stood by while the Bible, prayer, and the Ten Commandments were removed from schools. We stood by while men, women, and children engaged in vile sexual perversion. We stood by while over 50,000,000 preborn children have been slaughtered by abortion. We stood by while Massachusetts under Gov. Romney allowed same sex marriage. We stood by while the Ten Commandments were removed from public places. Edmond Burke said, 'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.' We will stand by no longer. It is time for the church to stop playing church, and start being the church!"

Pastor Bryan Longworth is the associate pastor of Covenant Tabernacle World Outreach Center in Port St. Lucie, FL. Longworth's Sermon can be heard Sunday, January 27 from 9:30-10:00 on 1590 AM WPSL and on his church's website. Values Voter Guides are available at FLVotesValues.com.

Longworth will host the Values Voter 2008 Presidential Debate viewing at his church, located at 7192 S. US 1, Port St. Lucie, one block north of Prima Vista Blvd, next to Johnny's Rio Mar Restaurant and A Faster PC. The debate can also be seen online by clicking the link on www.FloridaVotesValues.com.
