Dangers of Government Schools Exposed Through National Radio Show

Contact: Denise Kanter, Morningstar Educational Network, 714-633-8074

ORANGE, Calif., July 27 /Christian Newswire/ -- Quoting from Ronald Reagan’s August 23, 1984 speech, Issues in Education host Bob Boyd agrees, “Without God, there is no virtue, because there's no prompting of the conscience. If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”  Bob goes on to say, “Government schools have forgotten God. Across America school children are being exposed to ungodly forms of relationships, evolution, and hatred towards the values and morals of the God of the Bible.”

In an effort to alert Christian parents to the dangers of government sponsored schools, Bob and Geri Boyd host a national radio ministry called Issues in Education.  Their program airs weekly on over 500 radio stations nationwide featuring Christian authors and leaders who are helping parents discover the blessings of a Christian worldview home education.  Denise Kanter with Considering Homeschooling Ministry joined Bob and Geri Boyd last week to discuss why it is important to homeschool in today’s culture.

“It was a pleasure to discuss the importance of a Biblical worldview homeschool with Bob and Geri Boyd.  The Boyd’s have a wealth of knowledge about what is happening in the government schools.   Parents should be tuning in weekly to hear their program,” said Denise Kanter.  “I especially recommend listening to their past programs titled ‘Exit Strategy’ with E. Ray Moore, and Is Public Education Against America? with Kerby Anderson.”  These programs and others are available at their website www.issuesineducation.org under the program log link.

Bob Boyd asks parents to think about these questions, “What’s your goal for your child’s future? If it’s to become a Christian, why would you want your child to form his most basic beliefs from a non-Christian education?  What do new studies show about pre-schooling?  He recommends that parents should consider the options and listen to the program titled Consider Home Schooling!
