SAN JOSE, Calif., July 4, 2014 /Christian Newswire/ -- As the USA celebrates the Fourth of July, four pastors ask Americans to remember that God is the reason for the USA's liberty. These patriotic messages are from pastors Steven Andrew, Bill Keller, Wiley Drake and Gordon James Klingenschmitt. Drake shared how the Pilgrims got on their knees and said they came for the glory of God. Drake would like Americans to turn to God on Independence Day. He is former 2nd Vice President of the Southern Baptist Convention, hosts the Wiley Drake Show and a veteran. July 4th he has a service at Gettysburg.

Klingenschmitt wants the nation to turn to God, including government. He said, "We salute the 65 chaplains who just appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court in defense of religious liberty, denied promotion and justice by the Obama Administration and drummed out of the service because they prayed and preached the Bible 'in Jesus' name.'" He won the Colorado State Representative primary (District 15). Klingenschmitt is founder of Pray In Jesus' Name Ministries and TV show and a veteran.
