DALLAS, Aug. 27, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- On Sunday, August 12th, Roaring Lambs Founder, Garry Kinder, announced he is retiring from his role with the Dallas-based ministry. Kinder started Roaring Lambs almost thirty-nine years ago by teaching a Bible study in a secular setting and has taken that group through almost four tours of the Bible. Under Kinder's leadership, the ministry expanded beyond the Bible study to include an annual Hall of Fame Banquet, Testimony Workshops, a Writers Conference, and books to equip people to be bold about their faith. "What began as a nine-week trial Bible study has blossomed into a full-time, multi-faceted ministry and passion of mine," said Garry Kinder. I have enjoyed teaching the Bible study for almost four decades and have made lifelong friends through my association at Roaring Lambs."

Kinder has tagged Anton Skell to replace him as the new teacher of the study. Both Anton Skell and his wife, Donna, will run the day-to-day operations of Roaring Lambs.

Neither Anton Skell nor Donna are strangers to the Roaring Lambs ministry. They have been participants in the Bible study since its inception and now work for Roaring Lambs. Donna is the Executive Director and Anton is the Controller. "I'm so thankful for the blessing of this ministry and for Garry and Janet Kinder's leadership, but I'm excited about the future as well," said Donna Skell. The Skells officially took over the ministry August 19th.

Roaring Lambs, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, seeks to Fortify Faith, Glorify God, and Testify to Others. The ministry equips, inspires and challenges Christians to live their faith 24/7 at work, home and play. At this year's annual Hall of Fame Banquet, set for Saturday, October 27th in Dallas, Texas, Roaring Lambs will honor Hobby Lobby President, Steve Green and his wife, Jackie Green. Together, the Greens founded "The Museum of the Bible," located in Washington, D.C. The ministry will also pay tribute to retired Wilson Sporting Goods Vice President, Dave Terre. Terre served Wilson Sporting Goods for forty-seven years.

Roaring Lambs Ministries has a vision of creating "Roaring Lambs," people who reach the world for Christ, and can only do it through donor support.
