Mr. Randall Terry 'Anathematized!' 'Mr. Cunningham's Ignorance is Only Outdone by His Arrogance. His False Witness Continues...' Randall Terry

MEDIA ADVISORY, Feb. 3 /Christian Newswire/ -- Mr. Terry's response to Mr. Cunningham is below.

Mr. George Offerman, of prolifedefender.com wrote a blistering critique of Mr. Cunningham's remarks.

For comic relief, read:
www.fightingirishthomas.net/2010/02/pro-life-hero-series-1-randall-terry.html (Mr. Terry as pro-life super hero)

Mr. Terry states:

"Mr. Gregg Cunningham's articulate passion in his latest press release against me is admirable; however, passion and articulation are not substitutes for truth and logic.  (www.christiannewswire.com/news/353912936.html)

"For the pro-life leaders and activists reading this, using Mr. Cunningham's words -- and his silence -- I will demonstrate that his foundation and conclusions are irreparably flawed to the point of absurdity; he turns his back on the babies and the Laws of God. You be the judge. I begin.

"I declare -- without equivocation -- that God made the Laws of heaven and earth, and that innocent blood cries to Him from the ground for justice. (See Genesis 4: 9-11, 9: 6, Psalm 106: 37-42) When the blood of fifty million babies is crying to God from our sewers and landfills, it violently upends the equilibrium of the world. These unpunished crimes release forces of evil and bloodshed. As the Scriptures teach: God is not mocked; we reap what we sow. (See Galatians 6:7, 8)

"I say again -- without equivocation -- that child killing itself is the vile, bloody fountain from which Tiller's death sprung. I said in my press release: '...we must not pretend that there is no connection between Mr. Tiller's shedding of innocent blood and Scott Roeder's act of violence against him..." I went on to say that Mr. Roeder deserved a fair trial, which would include the jury hearing how Tiller killed these innocent babies, mutilating their bodies, etc. Roeder's motive was a valid point of law that should have been brought before the jury.

"But Mr. Cunningham and his Center for Bioethical Reform (CBR) reject any connection between the babies Tiller murdered, and his slaying: (Feb 1) ... CBR also applauded the conviction of Scott Roeder for the murder of abortionist George Tiller...(Feb 2) CBR categorically condemns Mr. Terry's suggestion that any motive could have justified Mr. Roeder's murder of 'Dr.' Tiller."

"Mr. Cunningham's words resemble those of the arch child-killers, the N.O.W: 'The National Organization for Women commends the jury in the Scott Roeder trial for its swift guilty verdict and for not being fooled by the outrageous defense claim of justifiable terrorism.' When he sounds like baby killers, something might be wrong.

"But far worse -- and take warning, pro-life Christian, for we are all being weighed in the balance at this moment -- Mr. Cunningham dismisses the 'law of blood' laid down by God Himself. He scoffs:  'When you issue a press release in which you quote scripture which says in reference to George Tiller's murder, "For your lifeblood I will surely require a reckoning" and that "the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous" and that "the Lord our God will bring other destructions upon them" and add "their innocent blood cries to God ... for vengeance," you are expressing support for violence against abortionists.'

"No, I am not. But I am declaring -- without fear of repercussion from men or angels -- my support for the Laws of heaven, including the law of sowing and reaping. Does Mr. Cunningham deny sowing and reaping? Does he deny that the blood of babies cries out to God? Or is too timid and politically correct to say?

"Which leads to his silence...what Mr. Cunningham does not say. Read his words carefully. He never admits to the Laws of God in his words; he rejects the Law of sowing and reaping. In fact, in his press release against me of Feb 2, he never even uses the words 'baby,' 'child,' or even 'unborn;' 'child-killing,' 'murder' (of the babies, that is), 'God,' 'Christ,' 'innocent blood' (unless quoting and scoffing at me.)

"He actually refers to child-killing as 'this volatile issue,' again sounding like the N.O.W.! (Sadly, the only time he refers to the Bible is in his mock offer for me to sue him, which I politely decline.)

"Why does Mr. Cunningham -- when rebuking me -- ignore the babies, close his eyes to innocent blood, and disregard the Laws of heaven? Because he would sound like a fool.  This is what he would sound like:

"'The fact that George Tiller brutally murdered 60,000 babies has nothing to do with why Scott Roeder shot him; they are not connected...' Gregg Cunningham

"'There is no such thing as 'innocent blood' crying from the ground for vengeance...' Gregg Cunningham

"'The innocent babies butchered by Tiller deserve no voice in this trial...' Gregg Cunningham

"'The Laws of God, and the Laws of sowing and reaping have no place in a public discussion about baby killers being killed...' Gregg Cunningham

"Finally, (please read with a frightened school girl voice, wagging your finger): 'If anyone dares to say that they do not condone what Roeder did, yet say Roeder wanted to save babies; if anyone dares to suggest that 'Roeder should be able to talk about murdered babies, and present a defense of voluntary manslaughter to the jury'; if anyone dares to whispers a word about 'innocent blood,' or 'sowing and reaping', or quotes from Genesis, or refers to 'slavery and the civil war', or wants to 'make Scott Roeder's trial about abortion', he is intentionally deceptive or wildly negligent!!! He is expressing support for violence against abortionists!!! These reckless words will turn America into Gaza or Mogadishu; animal rights activists will be gunning us down at McDonalds!!!' Gregg Cunningham

"On a more bizarre note, Mr. Cunningham loses his philosophical footing, and practically does a full split: '... you don't speak for those of us who condemn anarchy without equivocation. Be assured that when you jeopardize the fragile progress we have all worked so hard to achieve, we will anathematize and isolate you.' His ignorance is only outdone by his arrogance.

"Concerning his ignorance, anarchy means 'no law.' The discussion here is about violence, and a lawful trial by jury, not anarchy. I, unlike Mr. Cunningham, actually believe in Law. And the first Law - God's Law - is the foundation of all law, whether self, family, ecclesial, or civil law. I believe in the Divine Law of sowing and reaping.

"Regarding civil law, Augustine said: 'An unjust law is no law at all.' Mr. Cunningham denies this by his very words; he argues like a positivist and a statist, which is the philosophical and political equivalent of ethical anarchy; i.e., there are no divinely instituted laws to be discussed in this case. He believes that the laws of man -- which are arbitrary and capricious -- are law, even if they are in conflict with the Laws of Heaven; I do not. I bow at Mount Sinai and the Mount of Beatitudes; he bows to the Supreme Court.

"Concerning his arrogance, he plays Pope and Divine Judge, saying, '...we will anathematize you.' This means to 'curse' or 'damn' me. The word 'anathema' is in the book of Galatians and I Corinthians. St. Paul said: 'As we said before, so now I say again: If any one preach to you a gospel, besides that which you have received, let him be anathema.' (Galatians, 1:9 - Accursed is what most translations say.) And, 'If any man love not our Lord Jesus Christ, let him be anathema, maranatha.' (I Cor. 16:22) A modern translation says: 'If any man doesn't love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. Come, Lord!' (Is he cursing me because I do not believe in the gospel of Gregg?)

"To Catholic readers, please know: Gregg Cunningham of CBR is a law unto himself, claiming the authority to damn a baptized Christian. (I know that most of you have never heard of him; may he continue in obscurity.) He rejects the Apostolic Authority of Christ's Church and arrogates it to himself. You who are protestant, do you want a godless, lawless argument, until it is time to "anathematize" someone? Men like this often self-combust, or they will curse you too in time. Beware.

"If after pondering the logic and premise of all that has been said between Mr. Cunningham and myself, if you feel it is worth bringing the curse of God on me, well, may God forgive you, and protect you from your spiritual cannibalism.

"I close with his final rebuke to me: 'It is clear that you don't begin to understand the forces you are unleashing here.'

"Mr. Cunningham, it is you who appears to not understand. The 'unleashed forces' that could destroy America was not released by me calling for murdered babies to have their day in court in Wichita, or calling for Scott Roeder to have a fair trial; the 'unleashed forces' is the innocent blood shed by child killers that cries to God for justice; the law of sowing and reaping; the innocent blood that will testify against Tiller; innocent blood that you have ignored and spurned in all your words. It is you, sir, who are isolated and ignored.
