We are a group of Catholic Communication /Advertising laypeople, who love and cherish the priesthood of Jesus Christ; we have set up this website www.worldpriestday.com to facilitate the World Day of Prayer for Priests. It is our prayer that this website may be a gateway to a deeper understanding of the priesthood of Christ as exercised by our priests, a priesthood in which, by virtue of our baptism, we all share. Together with you, we wish to thank God for our priests and pray that they may be holy and competent pastors, capable of leading even in the complex and difficult times we live in. We pray for them that their faith may not fail, that they may feel themselves surrounded by the caring love of their people and of the whole church.

A special memory to treasure.
The WorldPriest Organization and The Catholic Loyalty Foundation have created a beautiful Commemorative Collector's Edition Card with an accompanying Certificate of Honorable Recognition for those supporters of the WorldPriest, 3rd Annual 2012 Annual Global Rosary Relay for Priests.

Quotes from some of the 60 participating countries.

Raymond Cardinal Burke will join in praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the rosary from the Vatican in union with the Annual Global Rosary Relay for priests. He writes: Be assured that I will offer my praying of the Holy Rosary on June 15th next for the sanctification of priests. The sanctification of priests is a daily intention in my prayers, and, therefore, I am happy to participate in this global prayer for priests.

Thank You for this initiative. Our small medical, Catholic association (Germany and Austria too) is in contact with several Catholic priests (parishes, hospitals). Therefore we decided, to dedicate the rosary-action of 15-6-2012 especially to all hospital chaplains and spiritual assistants of Catholic medical associations in Germany, Europe and in all the world. We want to encourage these priests in their specific goals (at the beginning and the end of life). We pray for good and real Catholic priests, thanking for all their precious work for the people. Dr Gero Winkelmann Physician,
