HOLLYWOOD, April 1 /Christian Newswire/ -- As a Hollywood stuntwoman, Terri Cadiente is familiar with bumps and bruises. She's required to stand on top of cars spinning out of control and allow herself to be caught in fires and floods. After a day's work, it's her job to brush herself off and prepare for her next plight. But what about Life's bumps and bruises: a less-than-perfect childhood, a life filled with setbacks and rejections, and the deep emotional wounds that resulted? How does one stand back up in the series of life?

In Live Courageously: Choose to be the Real You (May 1, 2009), Terri takes readers through a defining exploration of rediscovering ones' genuine self based on her own personal experience, as well as her professional experience as an accredited life coach. Through intimate heartfelt stories, as well as valuable interactive coaching sessions, the reader is empowered to get honest: to live free in the present; to put the past to rest; to begin moving in the direction of their desired outcome; to shatter their "performance personality" and to embrace their genuine self. The reader will come ALIVE with hope and limitless possibilities.

Growing up, Terri was plagued by internal fears but gave the appearance of fearlessness. Her childhood was painful; she was seen by others as "too much" -- too much of a dreamer, too strong, too many big idea's. "Because I received few expressions of love, I learned that, while I was too big for my britches, I was, at the same time, not enough," states Terri. From these signals, Terri extrapolated the belief that she was unworthy of love. In hopes of gaining approval, Terri obediently made herself 'smaller'. She exchanged healthy elements of her identity for self-deprecating, self-destructive tendencies, and coping behaviors -- including drug addiction. Her cycle of recovery and restoration came from a dismal scene when she was forced to take stock: in a rage her boyfriend grabbed her by the hair, thrust her skull into the car windshield, slammed on the brakes, and threw her out the car door leaving her in a bloody, crumpled mess on the pavement next to the sewer.

Through Terri's experience she realized that she was at power of CHOICE to decide where she would go from there. Terri chose purposefully to reach a place of fulfillment. In Live Courageously: Choose to be the Real You, Terri shows readers how they are at the power of choice and teaches readers how to take ownership of their identity by giving them the power tools necessary to rediscover their genuine self and to live the life they desire.
