'MiMoment' One Pastor's Challenge for Christians to Share Their Faith
Contact: Kevin Hester, The Shore Church, 269-208-3844, theshorechurch@yahoo.com

ST JOSEPH, Mich., May 18, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- Every believer has a "MiMoment" that moment they recieved Jesus as their personal Savior. Pastor Kevin Hester church planter of The Shore Church in St. Joseph Michigan is challenging believers to do the most important thing they can do with their faith by joining the "MiMoment" Movement and becoming an activer sharer of their faith. To help people share their "MiMoment" he has started a website www.mimoment.net a MiMoment Facebook page, and has printed hats, t-shirts, banners, posters, and tracts as well as #mimoment rubber bracelets to remind others to share their faith. You can also share your "MiMoment" face to face or post it on your own social media sites like Facebook, twitter, or even send an email.

"Advancing God's Kingdom and impacting the world is not as hard as Christians have made it," says Kevin. While planting a church in Michigan, Kevin has learned the importance of sharing the gospel. There are, after all, nearly nine million lost people in the state according to certain statistics. Sadly, statistics show that only 2% of all Christians actively share their faith. Kevin believes that churches and we as Christians have failed in getting out the most life changing message of all time and it's not as difficult to do as people think. You don't have to know all of the Bible to share your own story, your "MiMoment." In the Bible when Jesus healed, helped, forgave, and changed someone's life, they would tell everyone they saw about that transforming moment. Many came to believe because these stories were shared. Kevin emphasizes that in Bible times all they had was their own two feet and word of mouth to share with and we are living in such advanced times in terms of modes of communication, that we will be completely without excuse one day. The Bible says in Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation, to everyone that believeth." and also in Matthew "whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven." It is time we stop living ashamed. We can tell our friends and co-workers about moments everyday, the good, bad, ordinary and the ugly ones, but we fail to tell them about the greatest moment when Jesus saved us from hell and secured us a place in heaven for all of eternity. Millions of people took the ice bucket challenge to raise money or purely for the entertainment of it but the "MiMoment" movement has the potential to literally affect eternity.

While many small moments make up a life, one single moment will define your eternity. If you're a Chrisitan, you have been given a "MiMoment" and as we look at the signs of the times, it should be easy to believe that this is your moment to share your "MiMoment." Don't let this moment pass you by!
