/ -- A perfectly normal pregnancy turns into an emergency C-section and nightmarish news that little Paige probably wouldn't survive. Rather than believe the doctors, new mom Sharon Richardson chooses to let God have the final say about her daughter.
Against all odds, Paige survives—and comes home to live with her parents. But something is missing. While there is breath in Paige's little body, there is no spark of life. This void sends a determined mother on the purposed path to bring her daughter into fullness of life, to trust God to heal the traumas, and to love from the deepest parts of her heart.
And when trauma sets in again and every medical challenge thwarts any reason for happiness or hope, Sharon leans into God to carry her as Paige goes from surgery to surgery. What initially seemed like shattered dreams, having a child both mentally and physically challenged, God transforms into showers of blessings, taking Sharon from a baby Christian to one who believes in creative miracles. Now full of life, Paige exercises her own faith in God to do the impossible.
It is Sharon's desire to help others see and experience the same God that she has experienced. She has never carried the responsibility of caring for her daughter with special needs as a burden. Instead, she considers caring for Paige an honor, a delight, and a joy, with deep love in her heart. It's her desire for this book to impart the same gift of faith that God has given her, to strengthen, encourage, and give hope to anyone who reads it.
Life with Paige is more than an adventure—it's a healing journey infused with love, faith, and miracles. How Deep Is Your Love encourages all of us to believe that we can overcome extreme adversity from a place of abundant joy and peace. ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Sharon earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Texas Christian University. She went onto work eighteen years as a probation officer. God then brought her home from work, which is when she completed seven years of Bible Study Fellowship. Sharon's heart is to see people healed both physically and emotionally, and since she has served in the healing ministry at Gateway Church in Texas since 2009. She lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with her husband, Tommy, and their blended family, where they serve God through local ministry and global mission trips, currently traveling with Wheels for the World. They look for opportunities to minister God's love wherever they go.
