INDIAN TRAIL, N.C., March 29, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- Ratio Christi Campus Apologetics Alliance is glad to announce a ministry partnership with Pure Flix Entertainment in promoting the movie God's Not Dead 2, which opens in theatres across the United States on Friday, April 1, 2016. Ratio Christi endorsed the first God's Not Dead in 2014 because the film was so closely related to its college campus ministry and is now pleased to partner with this sequel.
Ratio Christi is a global movement equipping university students and faculty with philosophical, scientific, and historical reasons for following Christ. At the same time, its chapters provide a safe and charitable venue for atheists, agnostics, skeptics, and adherents of other religions to investigate the claims of Christianity, discuss religious beliefs, and seek truth without fearing reprisal.
After expanding to 170 college campuses in the past few years and going international, the ministry has now launched an outreach to high school students (Ratio Christi College Prep) to give them early preparation for other worldviews they will face once they reach university level. A new movement to reach out to college professors (RC Prof) is also in progress.

Because Ratio Christi requires chapter leaders and student officers to adhere to biblical principles, some chapters have either been denied approval or "de-recognized" by university administrations. For example, this means that a group desiring to be a Ratio Christi chapter must meet off-campus, is not allowed to have table displays, advertisements, or events on school grounds, will not be eligible for school funds, and is not formally recognized as a college club.
