NASHVILLE, July 19, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- Three-time Assembly of God National Fine Arts winner, John Clark Blackwell, is allowing fans to see a behind the scenes look of the recording process. Blackwell has partnered with CCM Magazine to document this eight part In the Studio series. "We are excited for our readers to experience the ins and outs of the recording process," says Jon Edlin with CCM Magazine, "It's an honor to have someone like John who is willing to share his experience from beginning to end."

Blackwell is not new to the music scene. Having made numerous National television and radio appearances, performed at fairs and festivals, and recorded and collaborated with many renowned singers and acts, such as Britney Spears, Susie McEntire, sister of Country Music Hall of Fame mogul Reba McEntire, and Lonestar. His last single "GIVE" went #1 on the Inspirational Country charts.

Recording is set to begin later this month with Michael Payne as producer and many other Nashville greats getting behind this project. Coverage of the eight part In the Studio series will begin with the August 1st issue in CCM Magazine and conclude in the March 1st issue with the release of the album later that month.
