LOS ANGELES, June 1, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Summer is here, and with it come a host of music and ministry festivals featuring some of the best in Christian musicians and inspirational speakers. And this year JCTV, Trinity Broadcasting Network's exclusive 24-7 television network for teens and young adults, will be partnering in one of the most impacting: the 2012 Vous Conference, June 10-12, at the historic Filmore-Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Florida.

Sponsored by Rendezvous, the youth ministry of Miami's Trinity Church, the Vous Conference is three explosive days of fun, music, great worship, relevant teaching, and wholesome fellowship for teens and twenty-somethings. JCTV will be on hand to film the conference and bring it to JCTV viewers throughout the summer.

This year's musical guests will include Dez Duron, Dominique Jones of Forever Jones, and Nathan Finochio of Hillsong NYC. They'll be joined by a dynamic team of speakers, including Chris Hill of the Potter's House in Denver; Judah Smith, lead pastor of the City Church in Seattle; and actor comedian, and singer-songwriter John Gray.

Hosting the weekend will be Rich Wilkerson, leader of Trinity's Rendezvous ministry, as well as host of JCTV's Top 3, a weekly popular talk show featuring Christian personalities and engaging discussion on issues important to young people. Wilkerson said the Vous Conference has provided the spark thousands of young people need to strengthen their relationship with God. "The conference was really birthed with a vision to see this generation encounter God," explained Wilkerson. "And that is what has been happening each year. This year's event is going to be a time like never before. We're going to make Jesus' Name famous."

JCTV's program director Mark McCallie noted that the Vous Conference represents the type of programming that sets JCTV apart from other youth networks. "Young people today are looking for something meaningful to help them sort through the complex issues they're facing in life," he said. "Rock music videos and shallow reality shows have gotten stale, and they want something more."

McCallie said that since its launch in 2003, JCTV has been producing and airing cutting edge music videos, extreme sports show, relevant talk, and a variety of specials like "Vous" that draw in young people from a wide variety of backgrounds. "Our 24-7 program lineup is not just entertaining," he said. "We get feedback everyday from young people and parents telling us that JCTV is the catalyst that is helping change lives through spiritual impact."

Matt Crouch, TBN's Vice President for Administration, explained that JCTV is part of TBN's 40-year commitment to bring a wide variety of Christian programming to every viewer demographic. "From our TBN flagship network, to JCTV, Smile of a Child, the Church Channel, our TBN Enlace Spanish-language network, and beyond, all 16 members of our TBN family of networks are on the air 24 hours a day around the world, airing programming that not only entertains, but that changes lives. Our commitment to our viewers and partners remains the same as when we launched TBN: to wisely use every resource at our disposal to broadcast the good news of Jesus Christ around the world."
