NEW YORK, Nov. 16 /Christian Newswire/ -- Genie Francis, the star of Hallmark Channel's top-rated "The Note" and its sequel "Taking a Chance on Love," has joined brothers Ivor and Kenneth to create a retro-style holiday recording, "It's Christmas Time Again," featuring Christmas carols and the familiar seasonal tunes of their childhood years.  The CD, which was just released by Pictograph Records, features rich vocal harmonies, classical guitar and beautiful orchestral arrangements of "Silent Night," "O Holy Night" and other hymns plus the siblings' own take on holiday favorites from Andy Williams, the Carpenters and the Partridge Family. "We truly hope to remind people of a simpler, happier time and we hope this record can help bring a little joy and perhaps some good memories to people everywhere this Christmas season," said Ms. Francis. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the CD will go to the Children's Mission in Cuernavaca, Mexico, which was founded by Sister Margaret Slowick, a relative of the Francis family.

Genie Francis, who achieved stardom as Laura on "General Hospital," recently won new fans as Peyton MacGruder, the personal advice columnist known as "The Heart Healer" in the "Note" TV movies on Hallmark Channel.  "The Note" was Hallmark Channel's highest rated program of the year. "Taking a Chance on Love," the sequel, was the highest rated ad-supported cable movie of the week and the highest rated primetime telecast on its premiere airdate. "The Note" was based on the novel by best-selling Christian author Angela Hunt.

Both "The Note" and "Taking a Chance on Love" were produced by Lightworks Pictures, a subsidiary of Odyssey Networks, and Muse Entertainment.
