His vision, drive and determination have allowed millions of couples to experience this special marriage enrichment weekend," said Scott & Karen Seaborn and Fr. Tom Ogg, the WWME North American Leadership Team, as they announced the creation of the Fr. Chuck Gallagher, S.J. Legacy Fund.  

The North American Leadership Team further explained that a gift to the Legacy Fund is different from other forms of Worldwide Marriage Encounter giving. "The Fr. Chuck Gallagher, S.J. Legacy Fund is a permanent fund and only its earnings will be spent.  These earnings will be used to support leadership training at all levels of our movement, including couples and priests presenting WWME weekends as well as couples and priests serving in leadership roles in their communities, dioceses and beyond."

"We know that over the years married couples' lives have been changed for the better as a result of Fr. Chuck's vision for WWME," the Seaborns and Fr. Ogg added.  "Some of those couples were on weekends presented by the late Fr. Chuck and we believe they are still inspired with what happened to their marriages that they may want to contribute to this very special legacy fund."

The leadership team explained that the committee administering the funds is made up of three U.S. couples as well as a couple from Canada.  Fr. Ogg also serves on the committee.
