MEDIA ADVISORY, March 26 /Christian Newswire/ -- Howard Dayton, Cofounder of Crown Financial Ministries announces the formation of a new financial ministry. Compass--Finances God's Way (www.compass1.org) was launched earlier this month. Dayton will serve as CEO of the new non-profit organization.

This marks the end of Dayton's tenure at Crown, an organization that he started in 1985 and later merged with Larry Burkett's Christian Financial Concepts, forming the world's largest financial ministry. During his 22 years serving as a full-time volunteer CEO, Crown taught nearly 50 million people worldwide how to handle money in a way which pleases God.

"I am deeply thankful to Crown's current leadership for giving us the freedom to focus on developing new materials and distributing existing materials that the Lord allowed us to develop the past 30 years," Dayton said. Dayton, the author of a dozen books and studies and the former host of nationally syndicated radio programs Money Matters and How to Manage Your Money, has also announced that he will host the new radio program Hey Howard. The sixty-second daily program which features practical, biblical, financial advice, launches in various markets across America on April 1, 2010.
