OPINION, Nov. 11, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- In the midst of the crisis at Penn State, God is speaking. In an article called, "The Fall of the Lion: Four Things I Believe God Is Saying To Lion Country," writer and State College resident Chris Heinz shares four things he believes God is saying to Lion Country.

"There are many words flying right now -- words by media, by lawyers, by the public. It's easy to get consumed by them. But I think God is speaking into this situation, and if we heed his words, we can find our way out of the free fall we are in," said Heinz.

Heinz believes God is saying important things that are key to the recovery, healing, and future of the community.

"I believe God is saying he cares for the brokenhearted, he is exposing the 'acceptable' idolatry that exists in our town, he is asking us to turn our sex lives over to him, and he is challenging us to look at the planks in our own eyes," said Heinz.

In response, Heinz has developed a prayer guide with scriptures and prayer points. He has also filmed a video and posted a radio interview.
