A rash of recent new stories has brought the question of liberal media bias to the forefront of the discussion. The Summit's Media Workshop and Panel will harness techniques and present approaches for engaging and utilizing the media to further a pro-life message. Attorney Dana Cody, executive director of the Life Legal Defense Foundation, will open the Media Workshop section of the summit.

"We have the passion, and we understand where the law works in our favor," Cody said about those fighting for the sanctity of life. "What we need to improve on is leveraging the media to bring the deeper issues to light. We hear so much about the fight for abortion rights and so little about the humanity of the over 55 million unborn children who have already perished, and even more unborn babies whom some want to keep killing."

Joining Cody during the Summit are:

  • Kathryn Jean Lopez, editor-at-large for National Review Online

  • John-Henry Westen, editor-in-chief of LifeSiteNews.com

  • Ryan Scott Bomberger, co-founder of the Radiance Foundation

  • Anne Carmichael, vice-president of development at the Vitae Foundation

  • Tom Ciesielka, president of Chicago-based TC Public Relations

Prior to the Media Workshop, the Law of Life Summit "3" will feature brief presentations from a dozen leading names at the forefront of the legal battle to end abortion.
