Contact: Ben Peterson, OCP, 503-460-5363

PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- To help answer concerns church leaders may have regarding the implementation of the new Roman Missal, OCP has developed an online resource center. The web page -- OCP.org/NewMassSettings -- is designed to serve as a planning guide for all things related to the New Order of Mass. Visitors to the page will find what they need conveniently located in one place: practical resources, catechetical articles related to the new translation, links to useful websites, frequently asked questions and more.

"This transition is a unique opportunity for parish leaders to connect with their assemblies," said Tom Tomaszek, OCP's Director of Artists and Repertoire. "This web-based information center is just one of many steps OCP is taking to help those leaders overcome challenges and make the process as smooth as possible."

Created to be user-friendly, the page also includes a feature that makes it easy to share the web address with colleagues using email, AIM and social bookmarking and networking sites. Visitors can also sign up for alerts sent straight to their email inboxes whenever the page has been updated.

OCP missal and hymnal customers can visit the page for valuable information on what to expect moving forward. Plans are in place to provide supplements with revised texts and musical settings to customers using resources impacted by the new translation. Details on the new Mass settings OCP has selected for its worship resources are coming soon.

Because the page will be updated as new information and resources become available, visitors are encouraged to bookmark the address -- OCP.org/NewMassSettings -- and check back regularly.
