MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 24, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- There is a new type of pro-life movie coming out this Christmas, called Coming Home. Its uniqueness isn't just the story centering around a Catholic family, or how the Catholic Church has united with Protestant Churches during the production. The real story is that the film will be a vehicle to raise funds across America for mothers and children in need, through Christian pregnancy centers.

There are so many Christian films coming out, but this one stands on its own as a nonprofit feature film. That means when anyone buys the Coming Home DVD, download, or donates, it is all tax-deductible. Every last penny will go towards making new films and helping mothers and children in need. When it hits theaters, next Christmas, 30% of all ticket sales will be donated to the ministry for this purpose.

"Coming Home isn't just a movie," Layne McDonald, the Executive Producer and Founder of Layne McDonald Ministries says. "Coming Home is an initiative to help build the culture of life by raising support for struggling moms.  We are turning theater screens—which so often attack human life—into a true Christian missionary field.  We aren't here to make movies, so much as to create art that supports the Gospel of Life—to raise funds for those that need it the most, and to change lives."

Every early purchaser or donor will receive a "Special Thanks' credit on the end of the feature film. The movie is set for theaters next Christmas. You can find out more information at www.TheComingHomeMovie.com.
