'Mindset' Small Groups with a Big Picture

Contact: Richard Beattie, Envoy Creative Media, 888-266-3180

MEDIA ADVISORY, August 15 /Christian Newswire/ -- Envoy Creative Media, Inc. has announced the launch of a new e-book and multi-media curriculum that is designed to foster small group communities of Christians in Media and Arts. The e-book series "Mindset" is a series of e-books, audio/video, and podcasts to help media and arts professionals collaborate and cooperate in presenting news stories, entertainment and arts from a Biblical Perspective.

Author and founder Richard Beattie (pronounced Bee-tee) is starting the first small group at Mountain Springs Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. "The goal is to keep on developing and distribute content and to refine and define media and arts as it is meant to be." Beattie is an award winning writer and producer whose work is heard on Focus on the Family and Ezraweb.com. His media column is read on Associated Content and through the Christian Chronicle newspapers. He is the co-host of Radio Envoy which is heard in over 60 countries.

The first e-book is titled: "Wasps and Saints: Small Group Strategies in Big Media." "Our big picture is to see small groups in every city. Beattie said, "We are calling writers, artists, songwriters and producers (WASP) to combine their efforts with studios, agents, investors, networks and technicians (SAINTS) and to bring the sacrifice of praise to the mainstream."

Beattie added that "Christian media and arts professionals are often under funded and create in their own little corners. The world tends to support media and arts and collaborates, competes, and finances programming from news to music and galleries. The Small Group Ministries have become the model of community and we see this happening with Christians who thirst for a community that wants to reach the world for Christ."
