WASHINGTON, Feb. 13, 2016 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Reverends Rob Schenck (pronounced SHANK) and Patrick J. Mahoney, who knew Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and had many private conversations and prayers with him, will conduct a memorial candlelight prayer service in front of the U.S. Supreme Court for the late jurist tonight, Saturday, February 13, at 8:00 PM.

"I remember many deep and moving conversations and prayers with Justice Scalia," said Rev. Schenck. "My heart is very heavy. Our prayers will be for his widow Maureen, his children and grandchildren, and all who loved and admired him."

"Justice Scalia was a towering intellect, a great legal mind, and a champion of the sanctity of human life," said Rev. Mahoney. "He is a great loss to the Court, to the country, and to the culture of life."
