Bill Airy, Chief Operating Officer for the organization, said that Inspiration Mobile is designed to connect churches, ministries, and parachurch organizations with "on-the-go" members and partners.

"We are excited to announce the launch of our latest new media service for the inspirational community," said Airy. "We have transitioned into a mobile society and it's no different in the inspirational community. Our goal is to bring services to the marketplace that allow this audience to access and express their faith using a variety of mediums. We've achieved this with the launch of Inspiration Mobile."

With Inspiration Mobile, faith-based organizations can offer mobile devotionals, customized mobile wallpapers, and Christian music ringtones to its members and partners. The service is available on most major mobile phone carriers, including: Alltel, Verizon, T-Mobile, Cingular, Nextel, Sprint, Boost, and Dobson for mobile users with access to SMS or text-messaging.

The Inspiration Networks is also offering mobile content from several of its cable television franchises via the Inspiration Mobile Web Storefront, including:

In the coming months, the storefront will also feature mobile content from the kid-friendly programs "Aardvark to Zucchini" and "Bed Bug Bible Gang," the youth/young adult-focused Steelroots, and more.

"This announcement is part of our corporate commitment to provide new media services for the inspirational marketplace," Airy said.
