The Foundation will present the 'John Reagan "Tex" McCrary Award,' given to a member of the media for distinguished service, excellence and unbiased coverage of the U. S. Military through journalism in peace and war to Kimberly Dozier who is a CBS News correspondent working primarily in Baghdad since August 2003. On Memorial Day 2006 while in Baghdad she and several others were victims of a car bombing. Four people were killed and she was seriously wounded, but recovered completely after multiple surgeries and months of physiotherapy.

The 'Circle of Honor Award' is given to an individual who has made profound contributions to our nation and its way of life and who epitomizes the principles of courage, sacrifice and patriotism in their actions. This year's award is presented to The Honorable Sam Nunn, Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Office of the Nuclear Threat Initiative, and former United States Senator from Georgia for twenty-four years.
