NASHVILLE, July 30, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Nashville based Christian non-profit, Instruments of Joy, is bringing joy to the world with the gift of music and they need sponsors. They are equipping orphans and impoverished aspiring musicians in the developing world with quality instruments given in Jesus' name. Each donated instrument is prayed over before it is sent and the plan is for a card with John 3:16 to be attached.

A few years ago, Joshua MacLeod, founder of Instruments of Joy visited Malawi and met an orphan who had great musical potential. The young man was bringing joy through his music to the orphanage with a guitar he had made from a gas can and a block of wood. Joshua was inspired to gift the young man one of his guitars that was gathering dust in his bonus room back home.
To date, Instruments of Joy has delivered 44 quality instruments to orphans and aspiring musicians in Honduras, China, India, Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, Sudan, Moldova, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Haiti, Trinidad, Chile and Mongolia.
