WASHINGTON, April 11, 2019 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast, Inc. - Good Friday Prayer Breakfast will be held on April 19, 2019, 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the Trump International Hotel, DC in the Lincoln Library for the purpose of gathering people of faith to pray for the Office of the Presidency and believing God for spiritual awakening for the nation.

The timing is appropriate to consider the truth of John 3:16. God so loved the World that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes on Him will have everlasting life. We need peace in America.

President and Hostess, Rev. Merrie Turner of Virginia, stated that "We are engaged in a great battle for the soul of the nation and God has set before us the choice of life and death. Deuteronomy 30:19. Unity in Congress is needed for the nation to move forward legislatively and we will pray for divine wisdom and guidance for the Office of the Presidency. As we humble ourselves in prayer and communion ... God will hear, He will forgive our national sins and debt and will heal our land according to II Chronicles 7:14."

Speakers include Dr. Chauncey Crandall, MD, Author of the book, "Touching Heaven" from West Palm Beach, and Senator Stewart Greenleaf of Pennsylvania. The breakfast menu is a buffet of fresh fruit compote, eggs, breakfast breads, coffee, tea and juice. Seats are available.
