World Congress of Families IV (Warsaw) Hosts Briefing and Lunch at Copernicus Foundation in Chicago

ROCKFORD, Ill., Mar. 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- The World Congress of Families, announced today that it will host a briefing and free luncheon for World Congress of Families IV (Warsaw, May 11-13) at The Copernicus Foundation (5216 W. Lawrence Avenue, Chicago) on Tuesday, March 27 from 11:30am to 1:30pm.  

World Congress of Families is the largest international gathering of pro-family leaders, scholars, activists and parliamentarians. Warsaw will mark the 10th Anniversary.  Past Congresses were held in Prague (1997), Geneva (1999) and Mexico City (2004).  More than 3,500 people from over 70 countries are expected in Warsaw in May. 

Mr. Lech Kaczynski, President of the Republic of Poland, has agreed to serve as honorary patron of World Congress of Families IV.  Dr. Allan Carlson, founder and International Secretary of the World Congress of Families, expressed his delight with Kaczynski's involvement. "We are honored to have President Kaczynski as the keynote speaker and Patron of the Congress," Carlson declared.  "His well-known commitment to the family is very much in keeping with the theme of World Congress of Families IV – Beyond  Demographic Winter: The Natural Family And The Springtime for Nations."

Archbishop-Emeritus Kazimierz Majdanski, survivor of the World War II Dachau concentration camp and founder of the Polish Institute for the Study of the Family, is another patron and has offered his blessing for the Congress.
