CHICAGO, Ill., July 30, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- World Congress of Families (www.worldcongress.org) has partnered with Freedom's Journal Institute for the Study of Faith and Public Policy (organizer of the Black Conservative Summit - www.freedomsjournalinstitute.org) to host a one day conference, "In Defense of Life: Why All Lives Matter." Dr. Ben Carson and Gov. Mike Huckabee, are two of the featured lunch speakers.  Other pro-life and pro-family speakers and will present on how conservative ideas not only have the power to provide hope and love, but to transform lives and save children.  This conference is not limited to Black pro-lifers, but to everyone who believes that "all lives matter," and that advocacy of life affirming public policy has limitless possibilities for elevating everyone's standard of life.  The event is co-sponsored by the World Congress of Families (www.worldcongress.org) and the Howard Center for Family, Religion and Society (www.profam.org).

Dr. Wallace added, "Our conference has become even more urgent, since the recent release of three videos that document Planned Parenthood's practices to sell aborted black and hispanic baby organs and tissue for profit.  The Sexual Revolution has devalued life and family, to the point where the killing of over 1,000 black children per day is considered normal business practices at Planned Parenthood and throughout the United States.  Our own tax-dollars provide 500 million dollars to subsidize the killing of black children.  If we can't love and protect vulnerable women and children from abortion under our American legal system, how can we expect our government and culture to honor and protect the life of all human persons including blacks and hispanics?"

The conversation will feature Dr. Ben Carson, Gov. Mike Huckabee and other pro-life, pro-family leaders at the Freedom's Journal Institute's R.I.S.E. Initiative.
