The award was presented by Dr. Gwyneth Williams and Pastor Star Williams, both who coordinated the "Azusa Gathering of the Eagles" with Regent University which was held at Regent University on April 5, 2013.

Rev. Linzey, who has been called "Daughter of Azusa Street Revival," was influenced by Frank Boyd and P.C. Nelson, and Ernest Williams who received the baptism with the Holy Spirit at the 1906 revival at the Azusa Street Mission. Rev. Linzey preached at Azusa on December 7 and 8, 2012, and on December 14, 2012 at the Bonnie Brae Street house. Revival broke out at both locations as numerous believers received the baptism with the Holy Spirit.

The revival brought Rev. Linzey additional invitations to preach at the Los Angeles Mission, the Global Leadership Summit in Los Angeles; Houston, Texas; Trenton, New Jersey; Virginia Beach, Virginia; and the nation of Haiti, ministering to crowds of about 20,000 people, where she prayed with the regional United Nations Chief and the governor of the Cap-Hatien region.

At the Bonnie Brae Street house, Rev. Linzey said, "The duty of the faithful to the Holy Spirit is clear from Ephesians 4:30: 'And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.' Whatever might be in one's life that would grieve the Holy Spirit must be purged. The true church is comprised of true Christians, and her members live in a way submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Until the church is purged of immorality, she might look in vain for revival. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 4:7)."

Rev. Linzey wrote The Baptism with the Holy Spirit. She is a crusade evangelist, Christian movie actress, recording artist, and wrote the hymn "O Blessed Jesus."
