MEDIA ADVISORY, Oct. 19, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- LIVE TO SERVE, a unique event for preschool and children's ministry volunteers, aims to celebrate, inspire and empower volunteers, all in the span of 210 minutes on a Saturday morning. The experience will be filled with fun, encouragement, laughter, unity, excitement and practical wisdom that will pump them up as they press on to give, love and serve others. Held later this winter, this exciting experience could change everything for a team.

Volunteering in ministry is a special thing. A volunteer gives their time and energy to help out or walk alongside someone for a season of life, and it is meaningful and important for both parties. And at LIVE TO SERVE, an event specifically designed for preschool and children's ministry volunteers, we want to show how a team of dedicated people can change a child, a family, a church, and even a community.

Guest speakers include Sue Miller, children's ministry expert and author; Jim Wideman, innovator and a father of the modern children's ministry movement; Adam Duckworth, Lead Communicator at Downtown Harbor Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Amy Fenton, children's ministry veteran and Orange Specialist; Kellen Moore, children's pastor at South Hills Church; and Jenna Kuykendall, singer, songwriter and worship leader.

Ministry staff may elect to stay for an afternoon session with the LIVE TO SERVE team as they delve deeper into topics that matter most to those who lead ministries and groups of volunteers.

LIVE TO SERVE events will take place in Fort Myers, Fla., on January 30, Raleigh, NC, on February 20, Knoxville, Tenn., on February 27, Rogers, Ark., on March 12, and Naperville, Ill., on March 19, 2016.

Registration opens on Thursday, October 29. Volunteer tickets will be $25 and leader tickets will be $75. Pricing increase as the event gets closer, and those who register on Opening Day will receive special perks.
