MONTGOMERY, Ala., July 12, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- Life Legal Defense Foundation Available for Comment.

WHAT: A Life Legal Defense Foundation (LLDF) attorney will be available to comment after a hearing at the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), which will decide if the New Woman All Women abortion clinic will get a new license.

WHO: Dana Cody, Executive Director of the Life Legal Defense Foundation

WHEN: The hearing is on Friday, July 13th at 10:30 AM Central Time

WHERE: Alabama Department of Public Health, RSA Tower Bldg, 201 Monroe Street, Montgomery, AL

BACKGROUND: New Woman All Women's license was revoked due to 76 pages of health code violations, and there is a new applicant for a license. However, the applicant for the new license has ties to the clinic's owner Diane Derzis, even though the Consent Order says that "the applying entity or individual must be 'independent from and not affiliated with New Woman or its officers or directors...'."

Ms. Cody will offer a response to the ADPH's decision.

The letter that the LLDF sent to the ADPH to ensure that the Consent Order be strictly followed is at this link.
