INDIANAPOLIS, July 15, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- Indiana Right to Life announced the launch of its first mobile application for smartphones. The app features pregnancy help; access to social channels; blog stream; podcasts of Indiana Right to Life's radio program, iChooseLife: News and Views; videos; event calendar and more.

"With 140 million smartphone users in the United States, a mobile app will allow us to effectively communicate with this growing audience," stated Mike Fichter, President and CEO of Indiana Right to Life. "The new mobile app will allow us to get information out quickly, no matter where our audience is located. We're pleased to offer many features on our new app like video and blogs, but we're especially thrilled that our 30-minute weekly radio show, iChooseLife: News and Views can now be accessed by our pro-life audience on-the-go.

"Based on our research, Indiana is the first state Right to Life organization with a mobile app. We believe it is important to engage with our supporters on platforms they are using. That is why we've been utilizing social channels like Facebook and Twitter for so long, and we believe now is the appropriate time to jump into the mobile market. Smartphone use will only continue to rise, giving us the perfect opportunity to reach more people through our app and spread the pro-life message."

The app is available on Apple, Android and Windows Phone devices for free. To find it, search "Indiana Right to Life" in the app stores.
