In Life & Love Conference, the first of a series created to foster the good of marriage and family life throughout the United States. The first conference will be held in Plymouth, Michigan, October 18 - 20 with the theme "Praying in the Home."
The In Life & Love Conference draws its inspiration from Blessed John Paul II who stated, "The Family has the mission to become what it is ... a community of life and love" (Familiaris Consortio, no. 17).
The conference series will offer participants a theological foundation for marriage and family life, guidance for nourishing Catholic faith within the family, and insights for pastoral care of couples and families. HLI President Father Shenan J. Boquet invites spouses, parents, parish and diocesan ministers, clergy, and anyone else who is interested in learning more about how families can become intimate communities of life and love.
