Leading Christian Apologist William Lane Craig Brings Reasonable Faith to NRB Network, Starting Oct. 1, 9 pm ET

NASHVILLE, Oct. 1, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- The man atheist Richard Dawkins refuses to debate one-on-one comes to NRB Network this fall as Reasonable Faith, the weekly half-hour broadcast of Christian philosopher William Lane Craig debuts Monday, Oct. 1 at 9 pm ET.

Dawkins, author of The God Delusion, and one of the world's foremost atheists, has repeatedly dodged debate invitations from Craig, one of the world's leading Christian apologists. "I'm busy," Dawkins explained at one point.

Reasonable Faith viewers can see for themselves why Dawkins may not wish to lock horns with Craig, an international lecturer and debater, who has spoken at numerous universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Oxford, and Cambridge. Well-known atheists who have taken the time to debate him include Antony Flew, Peter Adkins, Sam Harris, and Christopher Hitchens.

Craig, the author or editor of 30 books, is Research Professor of Philosophy at Talbot School of Theology, and "among today's very finest defenders of Christianity," says Lee Strobel, author of The Case for Christ.

Reasonable Faith offers tools needed to win skeptics and defend biblical truth with maximum effectiveness. Topics Craig addresses include arguments for the existence of God, the nature of God, the nature of time and eternity, and the uniqueness of the historical Jesus.

Craig joins formidable intellectual gifts and debating skill with warm evangelical zeal. "Our goal, as Christians, is not to win arguments," he says. "It's to win people. And we try to persuade them by giving them good reasons to believe and that means that the training of the mind is an integral and vital part of Christian discipleship."

NRB Network is "honored to add Reasonable Faith to our primetime lineup," said Arline Bell, NRB Network Director of Programming. "Viewers look to our Network for solid, biblical content and with Dr. Craig, that is exactly what they will get."
