MEDIA ADVISORY, July 22 /Christian Newswire/ -- Bradley Dallas North Publications would like to introduce Melody J. Nelson. She is 46 years old, was born with cerebral palsy and is legally blind. Melody has very little use her arms and legs; she crawls around the floor on her knees and bottom.

Melody graduated from high school with honors; went to college and graduated there with honors, also. She was the first Homecoming Queen in a wheelchair ever nominated and won the year that she graduated.

Melody learned to type on a computer the same way a bird would peck food from the ground. She had a device strapped to her forehead and she typed her words this way, one letter at a time.

Melody is an Author of a series of 12 children's stories. After reading her first story, I was inspired, but I told her she needed illustrations to go along with the stories, for children.

All 12 books are fully illustrated and are about the adventures of a dog named Brandy, who is helping others.

Melody's mother asked her how she was able to write such beautiful stories. She told her mother that the animal's actually talked to her, while she was writing the story.

During the last three months, while I have been working on these books, Melody's doctors have found a spot on her lung. She is undergoing test now.

I told her not to worry, because it was not in our hands, that only God knows what is in her and what she needs. I told her for reasons unknown to me; God brought us together for a reason.

Melody's books will be available individually or as a box set, once they are all published.

Melody's books are a result of her imagination and they show anyone that through Faith, all may be accomplished. Her stories are beautiful and will be read by both children and adults.

Melody is excited to be able to bring these stories into your home and will inspire anyone who wants to believe. She is donating a percentage of her royalties to United Cerebral Palsy, for others to benefit from.

For more information about Melody or to set an interview, please contact bradleydallasnorth@hotmail.com and / or go to any major online book store to purchase her books.

Melody has started a new series of books and through God's will, they will be ready for release in 2010.
