OVERLAND PARK, Kan., June 27, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Bott Radio Network (BRN) launched a powerful new FM expansion of its Christian Talk Radio service to Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana on Friday with the addition of 100.1 FM. Formerly WNUY, the new station is WFCV-FM, a service of Bott Radio Network.

Bott Radio Network began broadcasting in the Fort Wayne area with the launch of WFCV 1090 AM back in 1980. Now, more than 30 years later, BRN is building upon their legacy of service in Northeast Indiana with the addition of WFCV 100.1 FM.

A special dedication broadcast took place at noon on Friday, June 24 to mark the moment when this quality, full-power, 24/7 FM station became part of Bott Radio Network. Together with BRN's powerful station at 1090 AM, this new FM signal will broadcast Quality Bible Teaching as well as Christian News and Information 24 hours a day to families in Fort Wayne and all across Northeast Indiana.

The addition of 100.1 FM, together with 1090 AM, underscores Bott Radio Network's commitment to serve families in Northeast Indiana. BRN has plans for a major power increase at 100.1 FM. "The engineering report shows that we can nearly triple the power of the station," explains Rich Bott, BRN President & CEO. "We plan to implement the power increase as soon as possible."

"I'm excited about this new full power station at 100.1 FM. Now with both AM and FM, we will be able to reach more people with the power of God's Word all day and all night," said Dale Gerke, BRN's Indiana Regional Manager.
