ATLANTA, July 23 /Christian Newswire/ -- In a surprise turn of events last night, all three remaining female contestants were eliminated, making the three remaining male singers the finalists of Gospel Music Channel's American Idol®-style talent search series Gospel Dream.

In the penultimate episode of season four, J. Moss, Gospel Dream judge and one of Gospel music's most prolific talents, came out from behind the judge's bench and opened the show with a rousing rendition of his song "Restored". Then the contestants took the stage: Tony LeBron (Boca Raton, FL, age 32), led off with "I Wanna Know What Love Is"; Jasmine Jackson (Murfreesboro, TN, 21) followed with "We Shall Behold Him"; Amber Davies (Brownsville, TN, 18) performed "Free to Be Me"; Robert Mauti (Nashville, TN, 26) did "In Christ Alone"; Erin Lyder (Boston, MA, 24) sang "Open My Heart"; and NeVar Massey (Hampton, GA, 34) belted out "I Believe I Can Fly".

The judges -- Moss, Michelle Williams from the GRAMMY- winning group "Destiny's Child" and music industry executive Mitchell Solarek -- then voted out Jackson, Davies and Lyder, meaning the men -- LeBron, Mauti and Massey -- will go to the Finals next week.
