CHESAPEAKE, Va., Feb. 6 /Christian Newswire/ -- According to Monica Ramos, wife of imprisoned U.S. Border Patrol agent Ignacio Ramos, her husband has been moved to a federal prison where he is serving time alongside immigration and drug offenders -- the same types of criminals Ramos is in prison for attempting to apprehend.

"The news is not good. I have heard from my husband and since being moved, conditions are worse as he is in general population," Mrs. Ramos writes on her blog hosted by FireSociety.com, a new online community for grassroots conservatives. "Inmates keep approaching him asking who he is and what he's in for," she adds, noting that many of the inmates are serving time for immigration and drug-related offenses.
