Newman Connection Expands Into On-Line Education

EFFINGHAM, Ill., Aug. 19, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- Newman Connection announced today the launch of two online educational courses, Exploring YOUCAT and iFACTS, the Institute For Advancing Catholic Thought and Studies, which will be available for free for a limited time.

YOUCAT is the new Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church, written and developed specifically for high school age and above supported and endorsed by Pope Benedict XVI.

Exploring YOUCAT is a series of video courses that will be offered at no charge, starting on Aug 29, 2011.  WWW.newmanconnection.com will deliver one video per week throughout the school year.  Fr. John Sims Baker of Vanderbilt, Fr. Tony Stephens of the Fathers of Mercy and Fr. Jim Kelleher of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, walk students through the YOUCAT expanding upon some of the most critical questions and topics posed to help our Youth.  This online course is designed to be for high school level and above.

Newman Connection is also pleased to be presenting iFacts, the Institute For Advancing Catholic Thoughts and Studies. iFacts ,brought to you by Vanderbilt Catholic and Endorsed by Bishop Choby, of the Diocese of Nashville is a course that places Catholic Theology right into the heart of Academia.
