CARROLLTON, Texas, Oct. 23, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- A. Larry Ross Communications (ALRC), a national communications firm specializing in faith-based public relations, was awarded the 2018 Pegasus Award for "Media Relations, Consumer" as well as the "Projects Best in Show," an honor given to the highest-scoring campaign among all seven project categories, by the Dallas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

"Since its founding in 1994, A. Larry Ross Communications has been known as one of the preeminent communications firms working in and out of the faith-based marketplace at the intersection of faith and culture," said Larry Ross, president. "We are honored to receive such recognition by a PRSA panel of our industry peers for our strategic consultation, based on necessary objectives, planning, implementation and evaluation for this client and project."

The two awards recognized the Agency's strategic public relations campaign supporting the national release of the 13th novel from New York Times best-selling author Joel C. Rosenberg by positioning the novelist on hard news media shows, emphasizing the unique dynamic of "art imitating life" through plots "ripped out of tomorrow's headlines."

The A. Larry Ross Communications team partnered with Tyndale House Publishers and Rosenberg, who has historically written about the Middle East, to expand his expertise as a political analyst on Russia, tying into the plot of his book, "The Kremlin Conspiracy." The Agency diligently monitored the news and strategically pitched Rosenberg to insert him into the news flow as an authoritative resource on complex international issues. As a result, ALRC garnered more than 145 million media impressions, including five national television interviews and three national opinion pieces, which helped facilitate the author hitting the New York Times bestsellers list one week after the book's release.

"Our account teams diligently strive for consistency in approaching client projects with a strategic and synergistic public relations mindset that provides results," said Kristin Cole, vice president of account services. "To have our efforts on a successful campaign recognized as one of the top among the many outstanding public relations professionals in Dallas is a great honor. This recognition only validates the stellar work for which A. Larry Ross Communications has been known for nearly 25 years."

Serving nearly 400 public relations professionals, PRSA Dallas is one of the largest chapters of the national Public Relations Society of America organization. The annual Pegasus Awards, named after the iconic red Pegasus in downtown Dallas, recognize the most outstanding public relations and strategic communications efforts by Dallas area public relations professionals.
