The bill has now passed the Indiana Senate and is moving the House for discussion and vote. Peter Breen will now testify before the Indiana House Judiciary Committee, that:

  1. Illinois' Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which was enacted in 1998, has protected numerous people of faith.

  2. For example: RFRA protects Christian pharmacists who object to dispensing abortion pills contrary to their sincerely held religious beliefs.

  3. RFRA helps keeps the government in check, so that people of faith will not be strong-armed into violating the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives.

Peter Breen is also an Illinois State Representative and member of the Illinois House Judiciary Civil Committee. A copy of Peter's testimony will be available after the Hearing.
