NASHVILLE, Feb. 26, 2015 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Coming Home," a contemporary album, from National Recording Artist, award-winning songwriter, Kathleen Fowle, is available now.

The 11-track set was written and produced by Kathleen, who believes the project will bring hope, comfort and draw listeners back home to the Church, or to the Church for the first time.

Coming Home's musical style mixes genres of inspirational with contemporary classical. With Lent and Easter themes, the CD follows the story line of hope, prayer, awe, identity, repentance and healing.

The music published through Two by Two Express, "Coming Home" is Kathleen's 5th release recorded in Nashville,TN, available now on Amazon. She endeavored to create a record embracing the quiet joy of returning home to God and the peace, joy, discovery and healing that occurs in that journey.

Kathleen as producer collaborated with Jim Daneker (music director for Michael W. Smith) on the orchestral arrangements. He comments: "Kathleen is wonderful to work with and her artistry is only matched by her humility & tender heart.  My hope is that this project is as encouraging to the listener as it was to me during the creative process."

In the writing and arranging process, Kathleen focused her attention on scriptures of Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount," and His parable commonly known as "The Prodigal Son." Kathleen states "Jesus began His ministry encouraging the poor in spirit, calling them 'blessed;' and when the prodigal son was aware of his spiritual poverty, he came home to find himself embraced and blessed. When we are aware of our need, we can look up and out to our God, who loves us unconditionally, who will not only embrace us, but transform us into the likeness of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ."

In listening, one easily feels a sense of rest and hope. Kathleen shares "In looking back over many wonderful missionary experiences, 'Coming Home' reminds me of what is important: my relationship with God, the Father. God is my heart's true home."

"Coming Home" can be viewed with reviews and heard on Amazon worldwide here.
