ATLANTA, Sept. 7, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Orange Conference, one of the most important family ministry team events happening today, will be held April 24-26, 2013, in Atlanta. Over 5,000 key influencers -- senior, student, children's and preschool leaders -- will gather to discover new strategies for sharing God's truth with the next generation. Attendees will discover what it really means to clarify the essentials and eliminate distractions with the theme of "Focus."

Smart leaders know one thing can influence the relevance of a message, the effectiveness of a team, the reach of a ministry, and the legacy of a life. It can be summarized in one word -- focus. OC13 attendees will be inspired from top-level speakers, who will share insight from past successes and failures. Also they will be able to choose specialized workshops and customized tracks. Flexibility is given to select tracks and sessions that are most relevant, offering timely insights and ideas for each staff member and volunteer. Additionally, teams will find opportunities to have fun together outside of their usual environments. Teams attend each year to get realigned and reacquainted. Networking events are also provided to chat with, and learn from, other church leaders and innovators.

Drawing together speakers, authors, and church leaders from around the world, Orange sets out to rethink the way the traditional church model approaches family ministry. The event is structured around the Orange Strategy of partnering families with the church to have a greater impact on the faith of young people, who are leaving the church at an alarming rate. "Thinking Orange" blends two vital, yet often unconnected worlds to reshape the current ministry model.

Already confirmed are: Andy Stanley, Perry Noble, Charles Jenkins, Reggie Joiner, Bob Goff, Lanny Donoho, Sue Miller, Carey Nieuwhof, Kara Powell, and Sherry Surratt. Dozens more will be added over the coming months.

Registration opens on September 27, 2012, and feature special pricing and offers. For more information, please visit www.TheOrangeConference.com.
