The Almighty Bible
is an acclaimed new and traditional media Bible project that aims to connect today's youth with the Bible through graphic novels, tablet/phone apps and a virtual world. Kids today are spending an average of 7.38hrs/day using entertainment media and far less time reading books. The Almighty Bible's mission is to make the Bible as accessible and engaging as possible for kids, tweens and young teens today. "We feel it is only natural to present God's word in this format and we are extremely excited to team up with an organization that has such a passion for the next generation of Christians," says Dong Chung, Executive Producer of the Almighty Bible.
Chap Clark (Vice Provost at Fuller Seminary), part of the Advisory Board for The Almighty Bible, helps to ensure that only the top quality and most effective product is ending up in the hands of youth. Chap says "As someone who works with parents and their kids I am thrilled to have a new tool set for making the bible accessible and exciting for today's youth. I keep telling parents that they need to provide their kids with relevant materials and now suddenly -- they are here -- in the guise of The Almighty Bible." We are excited that Chap Clark will be speaking at the first YS Palooza event, which will be held in Orlando, FL.
The 2011 YS Palooza events will be held in Orlando, Philadelphia and Dallas. The first event, Orlando, will be held on January 28 and 29. To learn more and to register please visit yspalooza.com
