AUSTIN, Texas, August 21 /Christian Newswire/ -- Texas entrepreneur and philanthropist, Red McCombs, has added another project to his long list of successful business ventures with Faithvine.com, a Christian collaboration website that blends content with community.

Faithvine is the result of a year-long project inspired and sponsored by the Clear Channel co-founder. The website, built and managed by Red McCombs Media (RMM), provides social networking, user-submitted video and audio, video news, interviews, commentary, discussion forums, and bible-study tools to an ever-expanding market of established and churchless Christians.

A Christian with strong support of family values, Mr. McCombs explains, "We have tools available to us through the Internet that allow us to communicate in ways we haven't before. Faithvine will be used to capture thought-provoking content with community dialogue. Other Christian affiliations, organizations, and websites are invited to use Faithvine for their own communities."

David Brown, Faithvine Editorial Director adds, "Faithvine's mission is to foster spiritually-significant conversation that reaches beyond boundaries. We provide a safe, online community where Christians from all backgrounds can grow together with a greater sense of connection through Jesus Christ."

"The main vision behind Faithvine.com is to provide a forum for visitors to discuss real issues, while supplying information and entertainment to the Christian community. Red is playing a big role in making that happen. He has been active in Faithvine's development and will continue to provide his guidance as we grow this exciting online community," says Jon Flatt, CEO for RMM.

Faithvine will serve as a marketing network for other online organizations to promote events and exchange their content. Flatt also notes that "Faithvine is built with growth in mind. Unlike many other online properties, Faithvine can sustain the rapid and long-term growth of several million users."

Operations for Faithvine are based in Austin, Texas, with offices located at Red McCombs Media.
