MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 11 /Christian Newswire/ -- The 2008 Election promises to be the most critical election of our lifetime as the morals of our nation hang in the balance.  Sadly, very few Christians know the positions taken by the candidates on abortion, hate crimes, pornography, same-sex marriage, the fairness doctrine, religious freedom, national sovereignty, issuance of national ID cards, and dozens of other issues.  Oftentimes, values voters are left out of the arena and often must choose between "the lesser of two evils".

For the first time in our nation's history, candidates for President will meet together in a debate over matters of top concern to values voters.  This historic debate is being held Monday, September 17th at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in downtown, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.  All candidates for the Democratic and Republican nomination have been invited. with confirmations including Duncan Hunter, Mike Huckabee, Tom Tancredo, Sam Brownback, Ron Paul, and John Cox.  Organizers are still working on others to attend.

The questions will come from 40 of our nation's leaders including: Paul Weyrich, founder and President of the Free Congress Foundation, Phyllis Schlafly, founder and President of Eagle Forum, Don Wildmon, founder and Chairman of the American Family Association, Judge Roy Moore, with the Foundation for Moral Law, Rick Scarborough, Vision America, Vic Eliason, Executive Director of the VCY America Network and Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel.  The Moderator for this debate is Joseph Farah, founder and CEO of WorldNetDaily.
