DELMONT, Penn., Nov. 12, 2013 /Christian Newswire/ -- The founders of True Story Christian Movies (TSCM) announce the launch of their new company and their calling to be a catalyst for a movement of Christian films based on true stories.

True Story Christian Movies is an online retail store, blog, and social media community whose emphasis is on reaching the world with Christian films that are based on and inspired by actual events. Their goal is to become a focal point for movie producers and consumers to unite in reaching the world with truth through film.

"We were not looking to start a company," said George Konetes, Founder of True Story Christian Movies. "We wanted to join a movement of people interested in proclaiming God's works through film. And when we could not find such a movement to join, we felt called to start one."

Having coined the genre title True Story Movies TSCM is actively working to research, categorize, and distribute Christian films and videos nationwide. They also regularly provide industry commentary and apologetics, thought leadership, and movie reviews on their blog.
