New Leadership Takes the Helm at Renovaré
The Vision for Spiritual Formation in Christ-Likeness Continues

DENVER, July 9, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- To develop and extend its ministry of Spiritual Formation, the Renovaré Board of Trustees is pleased to announce a new leadership team that includes former NCAA Men's Final Four Vice President Rachel Quan and Spring Arbor University Professor Nathan Foster.
 
Rachel Quan joined the ministry as EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR in February. Rachel's past positions include serving on staff at First Presbyterian Church of Houston, as the head of CityFest Houston for the Luis Palau Association, and, most recently, as the Vice President of External Operations for the 2011 NCAA Men's Final Four and the Executive Director for the Greater Houston Restaurant Association.
 
Nathan Foster joins the Renovaré Executive Team as the DIRECTOR OF TEACHING MINISTRIES. Nathan is a gifted writer and speaker and is also a social work professor at Spring Arbor University, where he was recently named Professor of the Year. Nathan is author of the book, Wisdom Chaser: Finding My Father at 14,000 Feet.
 
Joan Skulley, who has been with the Renovaré team for 17 years, has been promoted to Director of Administration, overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the ministry.
 
Lacy Borgo takes on the work of Children's Spiritual Formation as the Volunteer Stepping Stones Ministry Coordinator. Lacy is a published author for children's picture books and curriculum and a graduate of the Renovaré Institute.
 
Margaret Campbell continues as the Chair of the Board of Trustees.
 
James Catford, Vice Chair of the Renovaré Board and Executive Director of the British and Foreign Bible Society, will be assisting the team on future strategy and engaging the current culture in the conversation surrounding discipleship to Jesus Christ.

Renovaré is the foundational presence in the Spiritual Formation movement and has been for more than 20 years. Ministry team members include Richard Foster, Dallas Willard, and James Bryan Smith. Renovaré is Christian in commitment, ecumenical in breadth, and international in scope.
