MEDIA ADVISORY, Dec. 29 /Christian Newswire/ -- Resurrection Power Church of God in Christ , 81 Price Road, Gahanna, Ohio is the setting for the first ever Destination Education, "See the possibilities" Conference. The theme is "Biblical Literacy in A World of Shifting Values."

Pastor Franklin Culver, international evangelist, and talented teacher, and the Resurrection Power family is looking forward to hosting the March 20-21, 2009 Conference featuring educators, ministers and inspirational services.

The Conference is designed for Sunday School teachers, Christian Educators, Bible School teachers, anyone who loves scripture and anyone who teaches or desires to teach in the local church. "Many individuals" , explained E.M. Johnson, coordinator of the event, "have a great love of scripture but often need some assistance in developing appropriate strategies to best teach their students. This conference is designed to do just that. We are all about being a support to teachers, regardless of the denomination. Our job is helping them develop their teaching skills."

Dr. Johnson, Executive Director of None Like Him Anywhere, will present to the conference on Destination Education, which she describes as a redemptive, developmental sensitive, approach to Christian teaching that involves both knowledge acquisition and spiritual development. "We must", she says, "teach to see a change in our students."

Other featured presenters for the conference include, Lois Adams, an experienced teacher, who captivates children and adults alike with her exciting Bible lessons. Her session on Creative Bible teaching is a must. Additionally, an experienced special education teacher, Tony Brown, will share how to reach all students, including persons with learning disabilities in the Bible school classroom.

Mrs. Sharon Robinson who has spent many years ministering to persons who are behaviorally challenged will share from her heart on how to teach difficult to reach persons. Dwight Carter, professional educational administrator and minister and Pastor Franklin Culver of Resurrection Power will bring inspiration and motivation as they minister the word.
