MEDIA ADVISORY, Nov. 11 /Christian Newswire/ -- "Demographic Winter: the decline of the human family" by SRB Documentaries -- the first documentary on falling birth rates worldwide, and their consequences for humanity's future -- is now available subtitled in Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Romanian and English (for the hearing impaired).

Barry McLerran, producer of "Demographic Winter," comments: "Since falling birth rates are a global phenomenon - worldwide, fertility rates have declined more than 50% since 1979 -- we've been flooded with requests for subtitled versions of the documentary. We hope to release others in the months ahead."

McLerran said he was gratified by the enthusiastic support for the documentary from pro-family leaders. Paul Weyrich, Chairman of the Free Congress Foundation, calls "Demographic Winter" "a wake-up call for the pro-family movement."

Tony Perkins, President of The Family Research Council, declares: "'Demographic Winter' is a timely account of a crisis we can not ignore. The loss of confidence and decline of faith ... are leaving us with empty cradles and emptier hearts. This film is a call to recover the family so that we can renew our future."

SRB Documentaries is grateful to the following individuals for their help with translation: Larry Jacobs of the World Congress of Families, Fernando Castro of the European Large Families Confederation (Portuguese), Raul Sanchez of the Institute of Superior Studies of the Family (Spanish), Bogdan I. Stanciu of the Romanian Alliance of Families (Romanian) and Fr. Maxim Obukov and Lech Kowalewski and Ewa Kowalewska, Human Life International, Europe (Russian).
